Tornadoes from rare supercell caused damage in Georgia

Rare "low precipitation" (LP) supercells spawned tornadoes across at least two Georgia counties on New Year's Eve. Even though Friday's forecast called for severe storms, including tornadoes, it was a highly unusual event.
