Armed man taken down on Champs-Elysees in Paris

There is an ongoing police operation Monday on the iconic Champs-Elysees in Paris, police said on Twitter, adding that people should avoid the area. CNN's Melissa Bell, who is on the scene, reports that she saw about 20 police vans and multiple armed police who appear to have a man on the ground. It remains unclear if this was terror-related or a criminal incident.
