She handled scandal as UNC chancellor. Now she'll try to move USC past its own

The University of Southern California, reeling from scandals that culminated with the biggest college admissions cheating investigation ever prosecuted, on Wednesday named as president the recently departed chancellor of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Carol Folt.
